Unique “Made in Germany” technology for paper packaging solutions

GFM’s knurling machines join paper layers and seal flat bags or paper packaging for small parts. Our embossing machines, specially developed for your requirements, can be seamlessly integrated into your existing production line.
Using the unique technology GFM has developed, you can avoid plastics and reduce adhesive use to a large extent – or even do without it completely! The proven processing concept
You’re familiar with it from coffee filters: several layers of paper are held together by an embossing – the so-called “knurl”. This is created by passing the material between two embossing rollers. In the process, the paper fibres interlock, creating a bond that is usually even more tensile than simple adhesion. You thus save on the cost of adhesives and protect the environment at the same time. This principle can be transferred to many areas of application and harnessed for environmental packaging.

Can be used practically everywhere: GFM knurling machines can be used, for instance, in the production of packaging for industry, medicine, hygiene and gastronomy.
